The Painting Process
We will come and meet with you at your home or
office and discuss what you would like to see in the space you would like painted. After
we determined what areas you would like touched, then we will write up a detailed quote for you.
We will also pick up all paint for our clients. We want to make this a pleasant experience and insure all the right materials and paint finishes are appropriate for each surface and room use.
Color Planning
Color planning is taken to a new level. Lets face it, we are hoping
that you will keep these colors on your walls for years. Average color change is approx.
every 6 to 8 years. Audrey will set an appointment with you. Should you have any materials, pictures, samples you would like to use she will ask you to have them readily available. After taking a look around your home or office, she will sit down and have a dialogue with you. She will take into account your personality, what you want the space to look like, lighting both natural and artifical, fabrics, size, scale and so much more. Once this is done, she will take this information back to her office and work on a color board for you. She will then come back to your home where the two of you will review everything that was done. This is important, as she wants you to understand her choices
for your new palette and how it will effect the space that your are in. Once everything is signed off, a date will be given to start your painting project.
Color boards can also be done should you decide to paint yourself.
Decorating/Design
The same process as above will be achieved including more
details. Shopping will also be done to pick up samples/fabrics and images prior to
purchase.
Decorative Painting/Faux
Should you desire a decorative or faux finish, Audrey will show you some existing samples and talk ideas with you. Once you have decided you would like a decorative or faux finish, Audrey will go back to her office to make some sample boards and bring them back to you so you may see what the finished effect will look like.
You can then move these
sample boards around your house to see which one you like. A sample board must be signed off by client and then a date will be set for work to begin.
Murals
Should you desire a picture or small image painted in a room, a discussion will take place and sketches will then be made to make sure this is what the client envisions. Once the client approves and signs off on the drawing, a date will then be set for work to begin.
Art Acquisitions
If you are a client who is looking for fine art, Audrey’s background as a Dealer, Director and Museum Interpreter will guide you through the process. From selecting a period, style or ism’ and steering you to the right gallery source for you particular selection to insuring, shipping and getting your acquisition authenticated for insurance purposes.
